Whether featured or a background artiste (extra) in film, television or print commercials OSCASA applies industry standards in protecting your rights. OSCASA will resolve issues with OSCASA registered agencies only, but we are able to provide guidance on your rights and suggested courses of action for Talent represented by non-OSCASA agents.
OSCASA provides guidance to Agencies and their Talent with regard to their rights in the South African Film Industry. Whether featured or a background artiste (extra) in film, television or print commercials OSCASA applies industry standards in protecting your rights. If you are signed with an OSCASA agent, we are able to assist with resolving issues with your agency. If you not signed with an OSCASA agent we are only able to provide suggested courses of action for any queries or complaints you may have.
In order for us to assist you, please complete the following form with as much detail as possible. Once you have submitted the details, please check your email inbox for more information. It can take up to 7 days for EXCO members to respond to your query.

OSCASA strives to educate, protect and advise you of your rights within the film, television and print industry. If your Agency is an OSCASA agent, the OSCASA EXCO will review your query/complaint within 7 working days. As OSCASA is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers, please understand that any other queries will be dealt with as soon as possible thereafter.
